Galway Business Wins National Award for Recycling Efforts
A Galway-based electrical company has received national recognition for its commitment to environmental sustainability. Electrical Galway was recently named the 'Best Performing Branch' at the second annual Association of Electrical Wholesalers (AEW) awards ceremony held in Ireland.
The award specifically highlights the company's success in lighting recycling. By managing the collection and safe disposal of old lighting products, the branch has demonstrated a significant contribution to reducing electrical waste across the region.
The AEW awards celebrate excellence within the electrical industry, focusing on companies that go above and beyond in their daily operations. This year, the focus was heavily placed on businesses that prioritize green initiatives and responsible waste management practices.
This achievement reflects a growing trend among Irish businesses to adopt more sustainable practices. As Ireland continues to work toward its national environmental goals, the efforts of local companies like Electrical Galway play a vital role in supporting a circular economy.
Local leaders have praised the team for their hard work and dedication to the project. The award serves as a reminder of how small, local businesses can make a positive impact on the environment while maintaining high standards of service for their customers.
