Ireland’s Insurtech Sector Continues to Expand
The Irish technology sector is seeing significant growth in the area of insurance technology, commonly known as 'insurtech.' According to the latest data from InsTech.ie, there are now more than 120 companies operating within this field across Ireland.
This growth highlights the increasing importance of digital innovation in the insurance industry. InsTech.ie acts as a central hub for the sector, connecting these new technology companies with 23 established insurance industry members to encourage collaboration and development.
To support this expanding ecosystem, the industry has launched the second cohort of 'The Foundry.' This initiative is designed to help startups develop their ideas and scale their businesses by providing them with the necessary resources and industry connections.
