New Coaching Appointments for Ireland Women’s National Basketball Team
Basketball Ireland has officially announced two new additions to the Women’s National Team coaching staff. Coaches Kilbride and Suzanne Maguire will join head coach Thomas Garlepp to support the squad in their upcoming international campaigns.
Kilbride brings significant experience to the role, having previously been a two-time participant in national basketball programs. Alongside Maguire, she will work closely with Garlepp to develop the team’s strategy and prepare players for high-level competition on the global stage.
The appointment of these two coaches is part of a wider effort by Basketball Ireland to strengthen the national team's backroom staff. By bringing in experienced professionals, the organization aims to improve the performance and consistency of the women's squad in future tournaments.
This move is seen as a positive step for the development of women's basketball in Ireland. Fans and supporters are looking forward to seeing how the new coaching team will influence the performance of the players as they represent the country in upcoming matches.
