Tensions with Iran: Israel prepares for the continuation of the campaign
In recent days, a certain sense of relief has prevailed in Israel after the direct round of exchanges with Iran came to an end. However, security officials emphasize that this is merely the conclusion of one round of fighting, and not the end of the overall campaign against Tehran.
The assessments within the security establishment are that the real test with Iran is still ahead of us. In Israel, it is understood that the Iranians will continue to try and act against Israeli interests in the region, while utilizing their proxies in neighboring countries.
One of the primary concerns arising at the political and security levels is Iran's attempt to limit Israel's freedom of action in Lebanon. In Tehran, they are working to create new equations that will make it difficult for the IDF to act against Hezbollah's military buildup, something that could lead to further escalation in the future.
Despite the relative calm currently being recorded, Israel continues to maintain high alertness across all fronts. The military is prepared for any possible scenario, with the understanding that the campaign against Iran is a long and complex one that requires constant readiness.
