Ministry of Health: No concern of Ebola virus in Israel
The Ministry of Health announced this evening (Sunday) that the suspicion of the presence of the Ebola virus in Israel has been ruled out. The announcement came after a patient was hospitalized earlier today in isolation at Sheba Medical Center in Tel HaShomer, following concerns that they had contracted the disease.
Medical teams at the hospital conducted comprehensive tests on the patient to determine if they were carrying the virus. The tests were conducted under strict protocols to ensure the safety of the public and the medical staff at the hospital.
After the tests were completed, the results received showed that the patient does not have Ebola. This is the fifth time a similar suspicion has arisen in Israel, and this time, as in previous cases, it turned out there is no danger to the public.
