New initiative helps IDF wounded integrate into the job market
A new and important initiative called "Oz VeRuach" (Strength and Spirit) has been launched with the goal of helping IDF wounded and war victims return to the workforce. The project focuses on integrating approximately 500 wounded individuals each year into significant roles within leading companies in the Israeli economy.
The program offers a unique model designed to ease the transition of the wounded from rehabilitation to the professional world. Data shows that the model is highly successful: about 90% of participants manage to find suitable employment, and 94% of them succeed in remaining in their workplace over time.
The initiative was born out of the understanding that IDF wounded bring with them high capabilities, command experience, and values of determination. The goal is not only to provide them with employment but to give them a real opportunity to integrate into core roles in Israel's largest companies, thereby strengthening Israeli society as a whole.
Collaboration with leading companies in the economy allows the wounded to receive personal guidance and the adjustments required for their medical and mental condition. Employers report that integrating the wounded contributes greatly to the atmosphere in the organization and brings with it employees with exceptionally high motivation.
In summary, the "Oz VeRuach" initiative represents a significant step in the rehabilitation of the wounded and their return to an active life. The success of the program so far inspires hope that more companies will join the movement and open their doors to those who have sacrificed so much for the country.
