Former senior IDF officials join defense technology company "Althemis"
Significant changes are taking place in Israel's defense technology industry. It was recently announced that two former senior IDF officials, Maj. Gen. (res.) Avi Mizrahi and Brig. Gen. (res.) Zvika Haimovich, are joining the ranks of the Israeli Defense Tech company "Althemis."
The addition of the two is considered a strategic move for the young company. Maj. Gen. (res.) Mizrahi and Brig. Gen. (res.) Haimovich bring with them a wealth of professional military experience, which is expected to assist the company in developing advanced technological solutions in the field of security and defense.
Alongside the new appointments, the company is reporting significant business success. Althemis recently completed a seed funding round totaling five million dollars. The investment was led by the venture capital firm WGG Partners, which believes in the company's potential in the global defense market.
The combination of the senior officials' operational experience and the new funding signals the continued growth of Israeli technology companies in the defense sector. These steps highlight the importance of technological innovation within the IDF and the Israeli security establishment as a whole.
