Report: Morocco considering purchasing missiles manufactured by Israel Aerospace Industries
According to new reports in the international media, the Moroccan government is examining the possibility of purchasing advanced missile systems manufactured by Israel Aerospace Industries. This step comes as part of the strengthening of security and diplomatic ties between the two countries in recent years, since the signing of the Abraham Accords.
Security cooperation between Israel and Morocco is expanding, including arms deals, joint training, and intelligence sharing. The acquisition of Israeli missiles could significantly strengthen Morocco's defense capabilities and reflect the high level of trust that countries in the region have in Israeli defense technology.
In parallel with these developments, Israel continues to establish its status as a regional energy power. The "Leviathan" gas field, located in the Mediterranean Sea, is considered one of the largest gas discoveries of the last decade. The reservoir provides natural gas to the Israeli economy and also enables exports to neighboring countries, which strengthens Israel's economic ties with countries in the region.
The combination of the technological capabilities of the Israeli industry and the country's natural resources continues to influence Israel's position in the international arena. While discussions regarding the missile deal with Morocco are still ongoing, it is clear that the ties between the countries continue to develop in a positive direction for both sides.
