Shin Bet teams land in Dubai: A significant step toward resuming flights to Israel
Special teams from the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) have landed in Dubai in recent days. The primary goal of the teams' arrival is to enable the resumption of flydubai flights to Israel, which had been suspended due to security requirements.
As part of the operation, the Shin Bet personnel brought with them advanced and innovative security screening systems. These systems are designed to ensure the safety of Israeli passengers and meet the strict security standards required for flights arriving in Israel.
This is an unusual and significant step, as the United Arab Emirates has temporarily authorized the deployment of Israeli equipment on its territory. The cooperation between the countries highlights the importance they place on maintaining air and tourism ties despite the existing security challenges.
The arrival of the teams marks a breakthrough in talks between the parties. If the new systems operate successfully, flydubai flights are expected to return to regular service on the route to Israel in the near future, which will provide relief to thousands of Israelis looking to travel to this destination.
