Will Israeli airlines return to flying to Dubai soon?
In recent months, many Israelis have faced difficulties with flights to the popular destination of Dubai. As of now, only the local airline "flydubai" operates direct flights on this route, which sometimes leads to a shortage of seats and price increases for Israeli passengers.
Last July, the authorities decided to extend the security ban on Israeli airlines landing in Dubai. The decision, which was supposed to end earlier, was extended until the end of October. Security officials state that this is a measure intended to maintain the safety of Israeli passengers and aircraft in the region.
The Israeli public is now waiting for updates regarding the end of the restrictions. The return of Israeli airlines to full operations on the Dubai route could increase the number of available flights and lead to a decrease in ticket prices, which have become more expensive recently.
New decisions on the matter are expected to be made in the coming days. The Ministry of Transport and security officials are continuously reviewing the situation, with the goal of allowing the resumption of Israeli flights as soon as possible, while meeting all required security standards.
