Tensions with Iran: Israel prepares for the continuation of the campaign
In recent days, a certain sense of relief has prevailed in Israel, following the conclusion of the direct exchange of fire with Iran. However, security and political officials emphasize that this is merely the end of one round, and not the conclusion of the overall campaign between the two countries.
The assessments within the security establishment are that the true test against Tehran is still ahead of us. Despite the relative calm currently being observed, Israel understands that Iran continues to operate in various arenas across the Middle East, which requires Israel to remain on high alert and in a state of constant vigilance.
One of the primary concerns at the political level is Iran's attempts to limit Israel's freedom of action on the northern border, particularly in Lebanon. In Jerusalem, there is concern that Tehran will attempt to exert political and military pressure to prevent Israel from acting against the buildup of terrorist organizations in the region.
In summary, although the direct fire has ceased, the security situation remains complex. Israel continues to closely monitor Iranian movements, with the understanding that the regional struggle is far from over and that it is necessary to prepare for any future scenario.
