Eli Zafrani announces his candidacy for mayor of Kiryat Shmona
Kiryat Shmona city council member on behalf of the Likud party, Eli Zafrani, officially announced in an interview with the "Maariv" newspaper his intention to run again for the position of mayor in the upcoming local elections.
Zafrani, who previously served as a council member and has run for mayor in the past, now seeks to return to the local political arena. In the interview, he addressed his aspirations to lead the city in the coming period and presented his platform regarding the management of the local authority.
During the interview, Zafrani also addressed national political issues and expressed support for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his family. He noted that, in his opinion, the criticism directed at them is unjustified, and described their conduct as modest.
Zafrani's announcement marks the beginning of political preparations in Kiryat Shmona ahead of the upcoming elections. The city's residents are expected to follow further developments in the local election campaign over the coming months.
