New campaign for October 7th orphans: Raising support for children who lost their parents
The "Wrapped in Love" (Atufim BeAhava) association launched a wide-scale national fundraising campaign this morning, aiming to assist children and young people who lost their parents in the October 7th massacre. The campaign is being held in collaboration with the "Bit" app and the "Shufersal" retail chain, and its goal is to provide a long-term support network for those whose lives changed in a single moment.
According to the association's data, there are approximately 573 children and young people who lost a parent or both parents during the severe terrorist events. The central goal of the initiative is to ensure that these children receive all the help required to cope with their heavy loss, both emotionally and financially, over the coming years.
The campaign calls on the Israeli public to mobilize and donate whatever they can to ease the burden on the children and their families. The partnership with major business entities is intended to make donating accessible to every citizen and to generate widespread awareness of the importance of ongoing support for these young orphans.
Public mobilization during this period is considered critical for the children's future. With the help of the donations, the association commits to continuing to accompany the young people and provide them with the resources needed to grow and rebuild their lives, despite the personal and national tragedy they have endured.
