Three minors arrested on suspicion of assaulting a Hod HaSharon resident
The Israel Police arrested three minors today (Wednesday) on suspicion of involvement in the violent assault of a Hod HaSharon resident, a man in his 60s. The incident took place on a street in the city and has caused great concern among local residents.
According to the suspicion, the incident began when the minors spat at the man while he was walking down the street. Subsequently, the minors allegedly proceeded to physically assault the man. The police opened an investigation immediately after receiving the report of the incident.
As part of the investigation, officers managed to locate the suspects and arrest them for questioning at the police station. Investigators are now examining the circumstances of the case and the motive that led the minors to act in such a manner toward an older adult.
Street violence is a sensitive issue in Israeli society, and the police emphasize that they will act decisively against any display of violence, especially when it involves the assault of innocent citizens. The investigation into the matter is ongoing, and the suspects are expected to be brought before a judge for an extension of their detention.
