Tensions with Iran: Israel prepares for the continuation of the campaign
In recent days, a certain sense of relief has prevailed in Israel after the direct round of exchanges of fire with Iran came to an end. However, security and political officials emphasize that this is only the end of one round of fighting, and not the conclusion of the overall campaign. The security establishment continues to monitor developments in the region closely.
The main concern at the political levels is Tehran's attempts to limit Israel's freedom of action in the northern arena, and especially in Lebanon. In Jerusalem, there is fear that Iran will attempt to exert political and military pressure to prevent Israel from acting against the entrenchment of terrorist organizations on the northern border.
Despite the relative calm, Israel makes it clear that the real test with Iran is still ahead of us. Official sources state that the country will continue to act decisively to protect the security of its citizens, while maintaining high readiness for any possible scenario that may develop on the various fronts.
In summary, Israel is in a complex period of uncertainty. While the direct fire has ceased for now, the strategic struggle with Iran continues. The Israeli public is required to continue to follow the Home Front Command's instructions, while the political and military echelons continue to plan their next steps with caution and discretion.
