Change on Instagram: Here is how you can control the photos that appear on your profile
The social network Instagram recently launched a new feature that changes the way users manage their personal profile. The new tool, called "Add to grid," is designed to give users more control over the content displayed on their page.
Until today, photos in which users were tagged appeared in a separate folder on the profile, but were not part of the main gallery. Now, the new feature allows every user to proactively choose posts in which they were tagged by friends or followers, and display them as an integral part of the profile's main grid.
This change comes as part of Meta's attempt to improve the user experience and give people more options for self-expression. With the new tool, users can decide which shared photos fit the aesthetic of their profile, thereby creating a more personal and curated page.
The update has already begun to appear for many users around the world, including in Israel. To use the feature, you need to enter the tags tab on your profile, select the desired photo, and use the add to grid option. This is another step by Instagram to make the social network a place where the user has full control over their content.
