IDF struck Hezbollah infrastructure in southern Lebanon
Israeli Air Force fighter jets struck targets belonging to the Hezbollah terrorist organization in southern Lebanon overnight (between Tuesday and Wednesday). The strike focused on two different areas used by the organization for activities against Israel.
According to an IDF spokesperson statement, the operation was carried out in response to hostile activity conducted against IDF forces operating in the border area. During the strike, military infrastructure used by the organization was destroyed.
The security situation on the northern border has remained very tense in recent months. The IDF continues to act with determination to protect the residents of the north and prevent Hezbollah from establishing its strength near the security fence.
So far, no casualties have been reported among our forces following the recent events. The IDF continues to closely monitor developments on the ground and respond to any attempt to harm Israeli sovereignty.
