Chinese group Chery strengthens its presence in Italy with a new name
The Italian automotive landscape is witnessing an important strategic change. The company Omoda & Jaecoo Automotive Italy has officially announced its name change to Chery Italy. This transformation marks a significant growth phase for the Chinese giant, which aims to consolidate its role within the national market.
The decision to adopt the parent company's name, Chery, reflects the group's desire to expand its operations in our country. After recording a steady increase in registrations over the past few months, the company has decided to restructure itself more broadly to better meet the needs of Italian consumers.
With this new organization, Chery Italy will no longer be limited to managing only the Omoda and Jaecoo brands. The Italian subsidiary will, in fact, become the point of reference for managing five different automotive brands from the group, thus increasing the variety of models available to Italian drivers.
This strategic move confirms the growing interest of Chinese manufacturers in the European market and, in particular, the Italian one. In the coming months, the company will work to integrate the new brands into its sales and service network, with the goal of offering an increasingly complete and competitive range of vehicles.
