Verona celebrates volunteering: the Association Festival kicks off
The city of Verona is preparing to host an important event dedicated to the world of volunteering and civic engagement. Today, at the Giardini Cantori Veronesi, the "Association Festival" will be held, an event designed to introduce citizens to the work carried out daily by local organizations.
The event, which will take place from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, will see the participation of over thirty social and cultural organizations from the area. It will be a unique opportunity to discover up close the numerous activities promoted in the social, educational, and artistic fields, which contribute to making the Veronese community more active and supportive.
The day's program is full of initiatives designed to involve people of all ages. Visitors will be able to walk among the information stands, participate in creative workshops, and watch live demonstrations organized by the volunteers. These activities will allow the public to interact directly with the members of the associations and better understand how to offer their own contribution.
The event represents a fundamental moment for strengthening the bond between institutions, the third sector, and citizens. In a period in which active participation is increasingly precious, the Association Festival confirms itself as a point of reference for anyone who wishes to approach the world of volunteering or simply spend a day dedicated to sharing and culture.
