Alessandro Di Battista returns to Italy after delicate surgery
Alessandro Di Battista, a well-known figure in Italian politics, returned to Italy in the last few hours after a period spent abroad. The 48-year-old former member of the Five Star Movement underwent delicate surgery at a hospital in the Cuban capital, Havana.
The return to his home country took place via an air ambulance flight specifically organized to ensure his safe transfer between the 11th and 12th of the month. Di Battista's health condition required immediate and specialized attention, which is why emergency transport was necessary.
Di Battista himself spoke publicly about his situation, describing the operation as the removal of a tumor. Through statements released to the media, he explained that, following the successful surgery, he must now face a course of care and treatments necessary for his full recovery.
The news has sparked significant interest in the Italian media landscape, given the public figure's popularity. At the moment, no further specific details have been provided regarding the prognosis or the time needed for a return to his daily activities, but the priority remains the period of convalescence that awaits him in the coming weeks.
