Lancia Gamma: the return of the all-Italian electric flagship
The historic Lancia brand has officially announced the arrival of the new Lancia Gamma, a model that marks a fundamental step in the brand's relaunch plan. This new flagship will be produced entirely in Italy, at the Melfi plant, confirming the company's commitment to the national automotive sector.
The new vehicle will be based on the STLA Medium technological platform, designed specifically for new-generation electric vehicles. Lancia's main goal is to offer a product that combines elegance, comfort, and high performance, while maintaining the refined style that has always characterized the Italian brand.
One of the most interesting aspects of the new Gamma concerns its range. According to the initial technical information released by the company, the car will be able to travel over 700 kilometers on a single charge. This feature aims to overcome current concerns related to long-distance travel with battery-powered vehicles.
The launch of the Lancia Gamma is scheduled for 2026. This model represents the second step of Lancia's strategic plan, following the success of the new Ypsilon. With this move, the brand aims to consolidate its position in the European premium market, focusing on a distinctive design and cutting-edge technology.
