RCS Academy: the future of Italian healthcare between technology and bureaucracy
The tenth edition of the “Healthcare & Pharma Talk” was held today, the important event organized by RCS Academy dedicated to the future of the healthcare system in Italy. The meeting, titled “Health System between bureaucracy and technology,” brought together industry experts, institutional representatives, and professionals from the pharmaceutical world to discuss the current challenges of the National Health Service.
At the center of the debate was the fundamental role of digital innovation. Experts emphasized how technology can become a decisive tool for improving the efficiency of hospitals and the quality of care offered to citizens. The main objective is to make the system faster and more accessible, reducing waiting times and facilitating patient access to services.
Another central theme of the day was the burden of bureaucracy. Many speakers highlighted how complex administrative procedures still represent a significant obstacle to the development of modern healthcare. The discussion focused on the need to simplify current rules, thereby allowing doctors and nurses to focus more on patient care rather than paperwork.
The event represented a necessary moment of discussion to define the sector's priorities for the coming years. The integration of new technologies and leaner management appears today to be the only viable path to ensure the sustainability of the Italian healthcare system, making it more modern and closer to the real needs of the population.
