Limes publishes a new issue on the “schism of the West”
The geopolitical magazine Limes has published a new issue entitled “The Schism of the West”. An excerpt from the volume was also presented by the newspaper Repubblica. The central theme concerns relations among Western countries and the meaning of the Atlantic alliance.
According to the headline of the article published by Repubblica, the Atlantic alliance exists “only in words”. This expression suggests a gap between official declarations and the reality of political relations among the states that are part of the Western bloc.
The new issue of Limes therefore explores the idea of an internal division within the West, described precisely as a “schism”. The term evokes a separation or a fracture, and points to possible tensions among allies on strategic and international issues.
The publication is available at newsstands starting today. With this issue, Limes offers readers an analysis devoted to changes in the balance among Western countries and to the future of Atlantic cooperation.
