FAI Autumn Days 2026: a journey through Italy's hidden treasures
Next weekend, Saturday, October 10 and Sunday, October 11, 2026, the FAI Autumn Days return. The initiative, promoted by the Fondo Ambiente Italiano (National Trust for Italy), offers citizens the unique opportunity to discover our country's rich artistic and cultural heritage.
During these two days, over 700 places of historical, artistic, and landscape interest will be open to the public. Many of these sites are usually closed to the public or difficult to visit, making the event a special occasion to explore hidden corners of the Italian territory.
The initiative involves more than 350 municipalities throughout Italy. From major art cities to small villages, visitors will be able to participate in guided tours and discover stories and architecture that represent the cultural identity of the various Italian regions.
