Transfer Market: Ederson's move to Manchester United falls through
Unexpected news is shaking up the Italian and international transfer market. Atalanta midfielder Ederson will not be moving to Manchester United, despite negotiations having reached a very advanced stage.
According to the latest information, the English club officially informed the Bergamo-based side of their decision to break off negotiations. The news has surprised many industry experts, given that the Brazilian player had already completed his routine medical examinations, a step that usually precedes the signing of a contract.
Although an agreement seemed imminent, the Red Devils chose to take a step back, effectively blocking the deal. At the moment, the specific reasons that led the Manchester club to this sudden decision have not been disclosed.
For Atalanta, this situation represents a return to normal. The midfielder therefore remains at the disposal of coach Gian Piero Gasperini, ready to continue the season in the Nerazzurri jersey in Serie A and in European competitions.
