FAI Autumn Days 2026: a weekend dedicated to discovering Italy's heritage
Next weekend, Saturday, October 10 and Sunday, October 11, 2026, the highly anticipated FAI Autumn Days return. The event, organized by the Fondo Ambiente Italiano (National Trust of Italy), represents one of the most important moments of the year to celebrate and rediscover the extraordinary cultural and landscape wealth of our country.
During these two days, FAI will open numerous places to the public that are usually inaccessible or little-known. The initiative aims to raise awareness among citizens about the importance of protecting artistic and natural heritage, offering everyone the opportunity to visit historic palaces, protected natural areas, and archaeological sites in various Italian regions.
Particular attention will be paid this year to the Molise region, which will host several special openings. Visitors will have the chance to explore hidden corners and architectural treasures of the Molise territory by participating in guided tours curated by Fondo Ambiente Italiano volunteers.
