The Artemìa Choir brings music to the villages of Friuli with the "Voci nell’Aria" tour
Friuli is preparing to host a series of musical events dedicated to female choral singing. The Artemìa Choir, a highly regarded artistic ensemble in the region, has announced the start of its new tour titled "Voci nell’Aria" (Voices in the Air), which will bring the group's performances to various historic villages across the Friulian territory.
The choir was founded in 1999 by Maestro Denis Monte, who still oversees its artistic direction today. The group is composed exclusively of female voices, aged between 18 and 30. Over the years, this young and dynamic ensemble has become a cultural touchstone for the local community.
During the tour's concerts, the singers will be accompanied on the piano by musician Luca Zanon. The repertoire chosen for "Voci nell’Aria" aims to enhance the acoustics of the chosen venues, creating a harmonious dialogue between choral music and the architecture of the small Friulian towns.
The initiative represents an important opportunity to promote musical culture among young people and to rediscover the beauty of the region's lesser-known villages. The organizers invite the public to attend in large numbers to support the talent of the young choristers and enjoy an immersive artistic experience in the heart of Friuli.
