Bergamo at the forefront: the first 100% electric buses in Italy arrive
The city of Bergamo has reached an important milestone in the field of sustainable mobility, becoming the first in Italy to introduce a fleet of fully electric buses. This project represents a significant step toward reducing air pollution and improving the quality of life in Italian urban centers.
The new fleet consists of 15 articulated buses, designed to meet the modern needs of public transport. Each vehicle is capable of carrying up to 120 passengers, ensuring a high capacity to manage the flow of people during peak hours in an efficient and quiet manner.
In addition to the new zero-emission vehicles, the renewal plan includes the installation of hi-tech shelters at bus stops.
