Italy Heads to North America to Promote National Tourism
Italian tourism is preparing to conquer the North American market with a new international event. From October 20 to 22, the "Travel Hashtag" roadshow will bring our country's excellence to three major cities across Canada and the United States. The initiative aims to present Italy's tourism offerings to key travel industry professionals.
The promotional tour will stop in Toronto, Philadelphia, and New York in just three days. During these B2B (business-to-business) meetings, Italian representatives will be able to speak directly with local travel agencies and tour operators. These cities were selected because they represent strategic and highly important markets for our country's economy.
North America remains one of the most relevant geographical areas for tourism in Italy. Every year, millions of American and Canadian travelers choose to visit the art cities, coastal areas, and historic villages of the peninsula. Strengthening commercial ties in these areas is fundamental to ensuring a constant flow of visitors throughout the year.
Initiatives like this are essential for maintaining high international attention toward Italy's beauty. Thanks to this autumn roadshow, the tourism sector aims to consolidate the positive results of recent months and pave the way for an even more successful season in 2025.
