Italy-Switzerland Collaboration: A workshop in Milan for scientific research
On July 9, 2026, the city of Milan hosted an important meeting dedicated to scientific research. At the Innovhub headquarters, a matchmaking workshop was held between Italy and Switzerland, focusing on the opportunities offered by the European Horizon Europe program.
The event focused in particular on two highly relevant thematic areas: health and the "Cancer Mission." The main objective of the meeting was to foster the creation of new collaborations between researchers, institutions, and companies from the two countries to develop innovative projects in the medical and healthcare fields.
The Horizon Europe program represents one of the fundamental pillars of the European Union for funding research and innovation. Thanks to initiatives like this workshop, Italy and Switzerland are strengthening their joint commitment to addressing global challenges related to public health and the fight against oncological diseases.
The meeting allowed participants to share expertise and resources, facilitating the birth of strategic partnerships. This type of cross-border cooperation is essential for improving the quality of scientific research and for accelerating technological progress for the benefit of the entire European community.
