“Win for Italia Team” is born: a new lottery to support Italian athletes
The Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI) has officially launched a new initiative to support sport in our country. It is called “Win for Italia Team,” a special lottery designed to raise funds for the preparation of Italian athletes ahead of upcoming international competitions and the Olympic Games.
The project was created with the goal of guaranteeing greater financial resources for sports federations. Thanks to the proceeds from this lottery, CONI will be able to fund scholarships, improve training facilities, and offer more advanced technological support to Italian champions. The initiative aims to make the Italian sports system increasingly competitive on a global level.
Participation is open to all adult citizens residing in Italy. By purchasing a ticket, supporters will not only have the chance to win cash prizes but will also contribute directly to the success of the talents representing Italy in Olympic and Paralympic disciplines. The game mechanism is simple and follows the procedures of existing national lotteries.
This development represents an important step for Italian sport, which is seeking new forms of funding independent of state contributions. The success of “Win for Italia Team” will depend on the response of the public, which has always been very close to Italian athletes during major sporting events.
With this initiative, the world of Italian sport hopes to build a more solid future for young athletes. The ultimate goal is to see more and more tricolor flags on podiums around the world, confirming the sporting excellence of our country.
