Discovering Greek myths: the "Cities of Diomedes" app is born
A new digital application called "Cities of Diomedes" has been launched, designed for those who wish to explore Italy through a different lens: that of Greek mythology. The project combines traditional tourism with ancient history, offering visitors a unique journey through the legends that have shaped our territory.
The application guides users along a thematic route that retraces the deeds of legendary figures such as Ulysses and Diomedes. Through this tool, tourists can discover how the Odyssey and epic tales intertwine with the geography and traditions of various Italian locations, making the visit not just a vacation, but a true cultural experience.
The main goal of the initiative is to enhance local historical heritage, making the connections between the classical world and Italian cities accessible to a wider audience. Thanks to multimedia content and guided tours, the app allows for the rediscovery of often little-known places, promoting conscious tourism that is attentive to history.
This project represents an interesting example of how technology can help preserve and disseminate culture. "Cities of Diomedes" is now available for anyone who wants to transform a simple trip into an adventure through the myths and history of the Mediterranean.
