Cosp Tecno Service awarded as one of the best Italian companies for sustainability
The Cosp Tecno Service cooperative, a member of Legacoop Umbria, has received an important national recognition. The company was selected as one of the top four “Paper Ambassadors 2026” in Italy, a title that rewards commitment to sustainability and responsible resource management.
The company is particularly well-known for its management of the waste collection service in the city of Matera. Thanks to constant effort and the adoption of innovative practices, the cooperative has managed to distinguish itself in the environmental services sector, becoming a benchmark for operational efficiency.
The “Paper Ambassadors” award honors entities that promote circular economy models and the proper recycling of materials. For Cosp Tecno Service, this milestone represents not only a corporate success but also confirmation of the importance of collaboration between Umbrian cooperatives and local administrations throughout the country.
This recognition underscores how waste management is a central issue for Italian cities, which are increasingly committed to improving separate waste collection rates. The example of Cosp Tecno Service demonstrates that, through organization and attention to the environment, it is possible to provide quality services to citizens and actively contribute to the protection of the territory.
