Acer throws down the gauntlet in the handheld console market with the new Predator Atlas
The tech giant Acer has announced the arrival of its new handheld gaming devices, the Predator Atlas 7 and 8, on the European market. These new models aim to compete directly with industry leaders, such as the well-known ROG Ally console, by offering high performance for mobile gaming enthusiasts.
The technological heart of these devices is represented by the new Intel Arc G3 Extreme processors. This hardware choice promises to ensure superior computing power, allowing for the management of even the most complex video games with optimal graphic quality and greater fluidity during the gaming experience.
A key strength of the new Predator Atlas is battery life. Both models will be equipped with an 80 Wh battery, a significant capacity that aims to solve one of the main problems of current handheld consoles, ensuring longer gaming sessions without the need to constantly recharge the device.
The official arrival in European stores is expected between September and November 2026. With this launch, Acer seeks to consolidate its position in the gaming hardware market, offering Italian and European users an advanced and competitive technological alternative for digital entertainment on the go.
