Amazon Italy launches new "Add to Delivery" feature
Amazon has officially introduced a new feature in Italy called "Add to Delivery." This tool is designed to make the online shopping experience more efficient and sustainable for users subscribed to the Prime service.
The new option allows customers to include eligible products in an already scheduled shipment. In this way, the selected items will arrive at home together with a previous order, avoiding the dispatch of separate packages for every single purchase.
The main goal of this initiative is to reduce the total number of shipments made. By consolidating multiple products into a single delivery, Amazon aims to decrease the environmental impact related to transport and optimize logistics management for warehouses across Italy.
To use the feature, users must check if the chosen items are marked as eligible. Once the product is identified, it will be possible to select the option during the checkout phase, linking it to a shipment already waiting to be prepared.
