Former SGO48 member finds success on social media, sharing the charms of Vietnam in Japanese
A former member of the idol group "SGO48," which was once active in Vietnam, is currently attracting attention by sharing information about Vietnam with Japan through social media. Leveraging her own experiences, she introduces local culture and tourist destinations in Japanese.
SGO48 was a group formed in 2019, but due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, it was regretfully disbanded in 2021. Even after the group's activities ended, she has continued her career in a new form, using the expressive power and approachability she cultivated during her time as an idol.
In her social media posts, she provides detailed introductions to delicious Vietnamese food and lesser-known tourist spots. Because her Japanese is extremely fluent and easy to understand, she has become a valuable source of information for those in Japan who are considering traveling to Vietnam.
Additionally, she values interaction with her audience, such as by answering questions from her followers. It seems she aims to go beyond simply disseminating information and hopes to act as a bridge between Japan and Vietnam.
Her transition from an idol to an influencer is supported by many fans. It is hoped that through her continued efforts, the exchange between Japan and Vietnam will deepen even further.
