“Guardian Girls Malaysia” Launched to Protect Women’s Rights Through Martial Arts
On August 28, the launch reception for “Guardian Girls Malaysia (GGM)” was held in Malaysia. This project aims to protect the rights of women and girls through martial arts, supporting them so they can play an active role in society with confidence.
This initiative values the spirit of martial arts, which originated in Japan. Martial arts are not just about techniques for self-defense; they also cultivate etiquette and mental strength. GGM intends to leverage the power of martial arts to address issues such as violence and discrimination that women face.
The reception brought together martial arts practitioners and supporters. Participants discussed the importance of empowering women through martial arts. Moving forward, the project plans to actively conduct self-defense classes and awareness-raising activities for women throughout Malaysia.
This initiative, which began through cooperation between Japan and Malaysia, is expected to be a new step toward creating a society where women can live safely. It is hoped that the spirit of martial arts will transcend borders and become a force that supports the futures of many women.
