Supporting Japanese Companies' Expansion into Africa: Business Co-Creation Seminar Held
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) held a seminar to support Japanese companies in entering the African market. This event was conducted as part of the initiatives for the Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD).
During the seminar, the current state of the African market and the support systems available for starting a business were explained in detail. Success stories of companies already operating in Africa were also introduced, providing participants with practical business insights.
Africa continues to experience population growth and is expected to become a major market in the future. This seminar aimed to encourage the first steps for Japanese companies to collaborate with African businesses and create new ventures.
Activities to strengthen economic ties between Japan and Africa are planned to continue in the future. For many Japanese companies interested in the African market, this seminar served as an important opportunity for gathering information.
