Travel to Japan Becomes More Convenient: Taxi App "GO" and "NAVITIME" Partner Up
Japan's taxi app "GO" and the tourist information app for international visitors "Japan Travel by NAVITIME" have announced a new partnership. This service will launch on July 8. Through this collaboration, international visitors to Japan will be able to use taxis more seamlessly.
Previously, after searching for a route to a destination, users had to open a separate app to call a taxi. However, with this partnership, after looking up a route within "Japan Travel by NAVITIME," it will be possible to call a taxi affiliated with "GO" directly through the app's interface. A key feature of this service is its availability across all 47 prefectures in Japan.
The number of international visitors to Japan is currently rising rapidly. However, hailing a taxi in an unfamiliar area or accurately communicating a destination to a driver has been a significant challenge for many travelers.
