Call for Ideas for a "Healthy Home": Japan Healthy Housing Association Launches First Contest
The Japan Healthy Housing Association has announced that it will hold its first-ever contest themed around homes that support a healthy lifestyle and ways of living within them. The purpose of this contest is to gather a wide range of excellent examples and ideas regarding how housing can protect people's health.
In recent years, as people spend more time at home, attention has been focused on the impact that the living environment has on health. Through this contest, the association hopes to promote models of health-conscious home improvements and comfortable living practices to society.
Submissions are open to both examples of homes currently being lived in and new ideas for future housing. By inviting proposals not only from experts but also from the general public, the association aims to create an opportunity for more people to think about healthy living environments.
