Supporting Japanese Companies' Expansion into Africa: Business Co-Creation Seminar Held
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) held the "1st Africa Business Co-Creation Seminar for Japanese Companies" to support Japanese firms in entering the African market. This seminar was conducted as part of the initiatives of the Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD), an international conference aimed at promoting Africa's economic development.
In recent years, Africa has been attracting significant global attention as a "new market" due to its population growth and economic expansion. This seminar provided detailed information on the latest trends in the African market and the public support systems available for companies to utilize.
Furthermore, case studies of pioneering companies already operating in Africa were shared. Participating companies learned specific strategies for generating profit while solving local challenges, as well as tips for success.
