Takahama City, Aichi Prefecture, Signs Agreement with Sports and Nutrition Organizations to Promote Health
On October 1, 2026, Takahama City in Aichi Prefecture signed an agreement regarding the health promotion of local residents with the Mikawa Bay Football Club and the Japan Centenarian Health Association. This initiative aims to promote healthy living throughout the region by combining administrative resources with professional expertise in sports, nutrition, and health.
Through this agreement, Takahama City will strengthen the provision of exercise opportunities through sports and the dissemination of knowledge regarding healthy eating. The Mikawa Bay Football Club will take on the role of promoting local sports, while the Japan Centenarian Health Association will provide professional advice on longevity and health maintenance.
A major feature of this project is the collaboration between organizations from different fields. By approaching health from both the perspectives of exercise and diet, the city aims to create an environment where a wide range of generations, from children to the elderly, can maintain their health while enjoying the process.
Moving forward, community-based events and health workshops are planned. Through this partnership, Takahama City intends to advance urban development that allows residents to live longer, healthier lives, while also leading to the revitalization of the local community.
