Japan national football team manager Moriyasu consults AI for 'strongest starting lineup'
It has been revealed that Japan national football team manager Hajime Moriyasu is utilizing AI (artificial intelligence) to help build his team ahead of their match against Brazil. Moriyasu disclosed that he has asked the AI to "tell me the strongest starting lineup for the Japan national team" and is using the results as a reference for his tactics.
In recent years, data analysis has become extremely important in the world of sports. Moriyasu hopes to further strengthen the team's tactics by incorporating objective data provided by the latest technology, rather than relying solely on human experience and intuition. The AI analyzes vast amounts of match data and player conditions to propose the optimal lineup.
However, Moriyasu does not adopt the AI's suggestions exactly as they are. While using the AI's answers as a reference, he ultimately selects players by confirming their form and the team's atmosphere with his own eyes. He appears to believe that combining technology with human judgment is the key to victory.
The match against the powerhouse Brazil is a major challenge for the Japan national team. Many football fans are paying close attention to how the AI's analysis will blend with Moriyasu's managerial decisions. Expectations are rising for the kind of performance the Japan national team will show as they incorporate this new technology.
