Waseda University to Host Exchange Camp for Students from Japan, China, and South Korea
Waseda University’s International Community Center (ICC) will host the "Japan-China-Korea Speak Your Mind Camp" for three days, from August 3rd to 5th. The event aims to help students from Japan, China, and South Korea understand each other's cultures and reflect on themselves.
Currently, approximately 64% of international students enrolled at Waseda University are from China and South Korea. It is hoped that students from these three geographically close neighboring countries will engage in direct dialogue and deepen their friendships through this camp.
During the camp, participants will be divided into groups to exchange opinions and take part in workshops. It will be a valuable opportunity for students with different backgrounds to discover new perspectives by freely discussing their thoughts.
Students who wish to participate must apply by 9:00 a.m. on July 6th. Details regarding capacity and application procedures can be found on the university's official website.
This camp will not only strengthen connections between students across borders but will also serve as a venue for broadening international perspectives for the future. The participation of many students is highly anticipated.
