New ETF Investing in Japanese General Trading Companies and Resource Businesses to List on Tokyo Stock Exchange
Global X Japan Co., Ltd. has announced that a new exchange-traded fund (ETF) investing in Japanese general trading companies and businesses related to the resource sector has received listing approval from the Tokyo Stock Exchange. This ETF aims to make it easier for investors to invest in the growth of Japan's major trading houses and resource-related companies.
The newly approved ETF is designed to track the "Japan Wholesale Trade & Resource Business Index (including dividends)." This index reflects the performance of general trading companies that support the Japanese economy, as well as firms engaged in resource businesses such as energy and metals.
In recent years, Japanese general trading companies have been attracting attention from global investors, who value their stable earnings and growth potential. With the introduction of this new ETF, individual investors will be able to easily invest in the entire Japanese trading sector rather than having to select specific companies.
The securities code has been set as "609A." By becoming available for trading on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, it is expected that this will further broaden investment options within the Japanese stock market.
