Windows 11 Taskbar Movement Feature Finally Shows Signs of Return
Microsoft released a new test version of Windows 11, the "Insider Experimental Preview," on May 15. It has been discovered that this latest version may include a feature that many users have been long awaiting: the ability to freely move the "taskbar" located at the bottom of the desktop screen.
In previous versions like Windows 10, it was possible to place the taskbar at the top, left, or right of the screen. However, in Windows 11, which debuted in 2021, the taskbar was fixed to the bottom of the screen. Many users expressed dissatisfaction with this change in specifications, as they could no longer use it the way they previously did.
In the recently released version "Build 26300.8493," there are movements indicating that settings for changing the taskbar's position are being added once again. Although it is still in the early stages of development, it appears that Microsoft is incorporating user feedback and attempting to bring back this previously convenient feature.
However, this feature is currently only available to some test participants. It is not yet available for all Windows 11 users. Microsoft is carefully verifying whether this feature works correctly and checking for any potential bugs.
If the testing progresses smoothly, this feature may be reinstated in a future official update. For users who want to customize their computer screens to suit their preferences, this news is generating significant anticipation.
