China to Continue Support for Foreign Enterprises; 80% of US Companies Plan to Maintain Operations
The Chinese government has expressed its intention to continue supporting foreign companies to facilitate their operations in China. This follows the release of a recent report by the U.S.-China Business Council (USCBC).
According to the report, more than 80% of surveyed U.S. companies plan to either maintain or expand their current operations in China. Many companies continue to view the Chinese market as a vital component of their global strategies.
A spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the survey results are "evidence of U.S. companies' confidence in the future and development of the Chinese market." Furthermore, they emphasized that China will continue to further open its markets and strive to create a fair and transparent business environment for foreign enterprises.
Specifically, the government plans to provide support to resolve specific issues faced by foreign-funded enterprises and offer "conveniences" to simplify business procedures. Through these measures, China aims to create an environment where more foreign companies can confidently make long-term investments.
While political tensions between the U.S. and China persist, the survey demonstrated that economic ties remain strong. The Chinese government intends to achieve stable economic growth by continuing to deepen cooperation with foreign enterprises.
