JAAF Launches Recruitment for Women's Athletics Coaching Program
The Japan Association of Athletics Federations (JAAF) has begun accepting applications for a new program designed to develop female coaches, titled "JAAF Coaching Clinic W (Double) – Produce Your Shining Self." This program is aimed at women interested in coaching athletics as well as female coaches who are already active in the field.
The main theme of this clinic is "producing" one's own career. Participants will not only acquire specialized knowledge regarding athletics but also gain insights into finding their own leadership and coaching styles. The objective is to create an environment where women can shine more brightly and play an active role in the sports world.
Currently, the shortage of female coaches remains a challenge in the Japanese sports community. Through these training sessions, JAAF aims to provide support so that women can approach coaching with confidence.
