International Symposium on "Longevity" to be Held in Tokyo in October 2026
The symposium-style event "MeDiet Japan 2026" will be held for two days from October 16 to 17, 2026, at the United Nations University in Shibuya, Tokyo. This event is organized by the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Japan.
The main theme of this event is "longevity." As the global population ages, experts will engage in in-depth discussions regarding the diets and lifestyles necessary to live long, healthy lives. It is expected that insights will be shared between Italy and Japan, both of which are known as "longevity nations."
At the United Nations University venue, the latest research findings will be presented, and panel discussions by experts are scheduled to take place. A program is being prepared that will allow a wide range of participants, from the general public interested in health to professionals in the field, to attend.
"MeDiet Japan 2026" is also attracting attention as a venue for promoting cultural exchange between Japan and Italy. Through the familiar themes of food and health, it will serve as a valuable opportunity to consider the future of our society.
