Taxi app 'GO' and 'Japan Travel by NAVITIME' partner to make travel more convenient for visitors to Japan
The taxi dispatch app 'GO' and the travel app for international visitors 'Japan Travel by NAVITIME' have launched a partnership. Through this initiative, foreign tourists visiting Japan will be able to book taxis more smoothly.
'Japan Travel by NAVITIME' is a widely used service among international tourists planning trips to Japan. While its primary functions were previously limited to searching for tourist destinations and route guidance, this partnership now makes it possible to call a taxi directly within the app.
This feature will be a significant help to foreign tourists who may face language barriers or lack local knowledge. Since taxis can be easily arranged from their current location through the app, it will make traveling with heavy luggage or moving through areas with limited public transportation much more comfortable.
In recent years, the number of foreign tourists visiting Japan has increased rapidly. This service partnership will be an important step toward reducing travel-related stress for tourists and helping them enjoy their stay in Japan even more.
Moving forward, further initiatives leveraging technology to make travel in Japan more convenient are expected. As an environment that is easy for tourists to use is established, the number of people visiting various tourist destinations across Japan may increase even further.
